Name: Marcus Siger
Age: 29
Birthplace: Athkatla
Class: Warrior, with possibility of weapon master
Description: Marcus is just reaching his early thirties, and is in the height of his fitness. Strongly built and fairly dextrous for his size, He holds himself to the same discipline as many soldiers would be. His armour and weapons, though they often vary, are all well tended. He carries his many scars proudly, though they do mar his once handsome face. When not in armour, his clothing is plain if well made, often padded so that his armour can be placed right over it.
History: Marcus was born to a middle of the run family in Athkatla, and was one of the few that was able to stay there. His father ran a forge of some success and when the time came Marcus also followed in his fathers footsteps. Growing up in Athkatla was never easy though, with the shadow theif presence and constant cut throat business dealings. As such, Marcus often hated lawless folk, having seen his father fighting with them often to keep from paying protection money. One time though, his father fought back with too much force, and earned the ire of one of the local brackets of thugs. While out setting up for supplies to be delivered for the smithy, Marcus's mother and father were brutally murdered, the door to be found hanging open and blood all across his home upon returning. Due to his fathers patrionage, the temple of Helm agreed to allow Marcus living space, and to handle his families property while he grew. He lived in the temple of Helm till he was old enough to take over the forge as his own, but still had been instilled with a sense of piety by the clergy.
However, he only stayed within his families old home for a few months, before the memories of the place brought him so much anguish he was forced to return to the temple. Spending a few years within there holdings, he was further tutored in helms ways. In time, he set out on his own to further understand what it meant to uphold the laws, and protect people who could not themselves. Though he was adamant in his face, he lacked the skill and wisdom required for service as a paladin or priest, he still seeks to make a name for himself, and better his gods standing as a skilled warrior.
