The "One Step Rule"
===================
The one step rule is a guideline for suitable alignments for followers of a given deity. The rule is that one part of your alignment (the law/chaos or good/evil part) can be 1 step from your patron deity's. Ex: Lathander's (NG) clerics could be NG, LG, CG or N (true neutral).
Deities and Race
=================
Please note that, while it is uncommon for a race to choose a deity outside of it's pantheon, you are not restricted to only those deities in your PCs racial pantheon and may choose another from other pantheons.
Deities and Faith based classes
===============================
The following requirements are mandatory for all faith based classes. Should you fail to meet any of these rules you will be unable to pass through the Launch Portal and into the game world proper.
**Please note that choosing one of these classes while in the game world may prevent you from passing the Launch Portal after then next server restart/reset. A Deity Tool has been provided to all PCs and can be used to verify if you are eligible for these classes and any other pertinent information. It is STRONGLY recommended that you make use of the Deity Tool before choosing the first level in any of these classes as DMs are under no obligation to 'fix' your PC should you ignore these rules and invalidate your PC.
