new character?

i heard something about needing a new character to play on the new server...but since im still new and my char has been here like less than two weeks and i havent even had a chance to really have much roleplay with my character who hasent even passed level 6 yet...do i still have to make a new character?

Some people are choosing to play new characters, but there is no need to make one if you don't wish to. As more areas are built and added, some might wish to make new PCs to see the new lower level stuff. Again, that's their choice.
