Her life began in the mysterious Island of Evermeet. She was the daughter of a city guard, and of a mother who loved taking care of the environment. She had six older brothers, she loved all of them very much, they all had really different interests and all of them taught her many things, they shared one particular interest in common: trying to convince her that their particular interest was the best of all.

That made her grow up wondering about which was right, better, and which she should follow, which caused great confusion and indecision on her. They were very playful and fun, she spent the first 60 years of her life with that family and greatly appreciated them. She had no idea of what to do in her life besides staying around and having a "normal" one until one Elf started watching her every move in her city.

That Elf was the Monk Japard Lachon'se, with 547 years of experience, just by watching her around the city he developed great interest in training her to be his new apprentice. He started leaving her letters with one phrased questions about existence, for her to wonder about. Those letters began to get more complex by time and so did her doubts, and all that led Ayana to him.

Ayana's family refused his trainings, but she was already too involved with the questions and studies to refuse such offer. They eventually had to leave her in his hands. So when she was 62 she went to the Old Order monastery with him and studied there for 53 years, having Monk training and education. After all those years she decided that she no longer wanted to stay in the monastery or in Evermeet.

She thought a lot about her brothers, and realized that they all just had different points of views, but that they shared the same logical mechanism for reaching their conclusions. After all the studies about her own mind, ways of thinking, body energy and self defense, she concluded that she wanted to travel the world and study each place as much as she could, leaving as last, Evermeet. In a way that she could learn a lot about the world and the apply all the different points of views to her understanding of her Island of birth.

It certainly wasn't easy for Ayana to leave Evermeet, they had rules and secrets that should always be kept. Their island's fate couldn't be trusted just to anyone, so only a few with permission could leave. She had to leave unnoticed in a boat with her master, who didn't like the idea but ended up helping her because of all that she meant to him. He had to spread a rumor that she was dead, even to her family.

Ayana's thirst for knowledge was greater than any feeling, leading her to think up and put in practice such plans. After a long time sailing, she first reached the Moonshae Isles and spent about 2 years there. From there she headed to the country of Cormyr, which she just passed by, not liking it much because they were not very inviting, according to her conclusions. Ayana planned to return there some other time. She then wandered around the continent studying as much as she could, living a life of adventures, which eventually made her end up in Dagger falls by the age of 120.

Ayana plans on staying in Dagger Falls and the surrounding areas for about 4 years, a period in which she believes will be enough for her experience and learning.

Ayana can be serious and thoughtful at times, pondering about endless things about life, existence, creatures, good and evil, intelligence, mind, and so on, as well as being fun and socially successful. She likes to promote interaction between people, watching it and studying them. She believes that social norms and laws are beautiful, and necessary for every intelligent life. The causes of why intelligent beings can also be evil, puzzles her mind and makes her wonder a lot about.
She can seem confusing at times, but she doesn't mind it, as long as she is trying her best to be clear and to create concepts of great quality.

The way Ayana had to leave Evermeet strikes her very nature. She is confused with how her emotions had let her to act in such ways, and it bugs her that she did so, although she tries not to suffer for past events, and mostly succeeds.

The woman has been studying mostly theoretical matters, but hopes to practice fighting once in a while.
