I am taking leave from Daggerdale

This is not a final desicion as i am undercided as of yet. I am going on holiday for a week on sunday in any case so i will be making a desicion while i am goine. Guess you want too know why...

There was a few things that seemed to annoy me lately and i got them off my chest so to speak in the "my views on the current DD" thread. As i know there are some mixed views on this and of course not everyone was going to agree. Before reading more to the DM team this is in no way a desicion made on your behalf of any or no actions you have done, I am greatfull for the time and effort you all have put into making the server possible and fun. But after spending ALOT of time working with Snottling on the current loot tables i was to learn that some players where not happy with the desicion made and changes to it, and its being shown that i am being blamed for the change OOC and worst IC. Im not going to state names or who but it has been more than one person so dont think this is fired at one person and i will not discuss with anyone who they are as its not appropiate or needed. I -did- help snott with the loot tables to try and create a more challenging and realistic world to what -Snottling- and nearly ALL the DM team wanted rather than a magical feast for all "Hack N Slash's". Im sorry that your not currently able too find hundred of magical items like you where before the change, and come back -Expecting- to be rich of gold and items from it just becuase your high level and take risks. DD was a low - mid magic server and as i understand Snottling and quite a few others wanted it to be like that aswell. I also wanted it hense the post and as result i was able to help -try- and make it more closer to what was wanted. Im going to think long and hard whether i will return to Daggerdale but as you can tell right now im pretty pissed off. Ill make desicions while im away, im not looking for people to convince me too stay or not becuase i will make it while im away from my PC all together and Daggerdale. Ill check the forums till i leave however, and Snottling i will try finish off the things i am trying to help you with before i go. As for those who want too know where this leaves Zorak check my post here it is layed out for those who need to be informed.

You're taking the heat for the loot changes? Holy shit! If anyone's to "blame" it's me, not DDRP. He merely helped me achieve what the staff have wanted for a long time, seeing the server slowly turn into a high magic server, which is unbalancing the whole server build.
So, if you have any complaints, point them my way.

Or mine as well. Snot and I have been discussing this forever. This has nothing to do with DDRP except it seems he had the ability to get some changes done.

I don't get it, aren't high magic servers bad? If I wanted a server where I power leveled and got uber items i'd go to Amia or something.

Sorry to hear that you were given grief about the loot tables being adjusted. I hope you don't let bitter complaints deprive you of a hobby that you enjoy because there are many of us that appreciate the work you did.

Yeah not huge fan of high magic , makes finding soemthing less desirable why looked into this plce as well. Keep up the fight and good work.
