Letter to Galagos (OOC knowledge for all but Gorfind and Celdur)

To Lord Galagos Ginei, Leader of the Wayrest encampment,

As you no doubt have heard, Roland Stoneaxe a member of the Dagger Falls Militia has been captured by the Zhentarim and is scheduled for public execution on saturday. His only crime was spying on the Zhentarim in service to your ally Dagger Falls.

Myself and Celdur Dy'ner have made plans to rescue our freind and ally Roland. We wish for permission to bring him to Wayrest for a short time thereafter. Our reasoning for this rather than Dagger Falls is simple, the human Zhentarim would have no trouble catching us over farmland and open plains, but then cannot hope to catch elves in the forest. This would prevent war, as the zhents would attack his saviours if he went home. Were he brought to Wayrest they would not know where he had been taken or whom to attack. Roland's stay would only be short, a visit to Halebran to heal him, perhaps some rest, then back to Dagger Falls.

Further benefits of Wayrest's help would be strengthening the alliance between Dagger Falls and the encampment, as well Dagger Falls would be in your debt, a debt is a valuable thing to have should the time of need arise.

So formally I ask your permission to bring one Roland Stoneaxe to Wayrest after his rescue.
